Over 250 local area families in need receive turkeys over the holidays

The numbers are staggering: 220 turkeys and 33 chickens distributed to 253 families in need in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown on one single day, thanks to the combined efforts The Food Bank of Westchester, the Community Food Pantry of Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown, The Salvation Army, and Sleepy Hollow Open Door Family Medical Center.
